Drawings and paintings, in ink and watercolour of buildings and street scenes by David Coppinger. A specialty is Victorian buildings, both in Melbourne, The Victorian Capital of Australia,and Cape Town, one of the most beautiful cities in the World! My sketches show buildings and scenes that exist now, or did so at the time the drawing was executed.

This site is my online Sketchbook. It shows many of the paintings I have produced over the last few years.
If you are visiting Melbourne,you can see my work on display at the SouthBank Market.
The market is held every Sunday, from 9.30 to 5.00 and it is situated on the South side of the Yarra river, under the Victorian Arts centre....right next to the Princes Bridge and over the river from Flinders Street Station!

There are two sketchbooks to choose from. Because the pages contain mostly images( and quite detailed ones at that!), it takes a while to load. Be patient, it is worth the wait !
