The drawing above is one of my favourites.
It shows the view from the Southbank, looking over the Yarra river and the Princes bridge.
On the left is the Flinders Street Station, while on the right is St. Pauls cathederal. The Town hall shows in the distance.

The Melbourne General Post Office, on the corner of Bourke and Elizabeth Streets.This is the view up Bourke street.
The building dates from the 1860's.

The Forum, Flinders Street, Melbourne

The drawing above shows the old State Theatre, in Flinders Street, Melbourne. It was built in 1928 and is now known as "The Forum".

The drawing above shows the Princess Theatre, in Spring street.. It was built in 1886 and restored in the 1920's It is a very flamboyant building, finished off with Gold statues and lots of fine details. It reflects the vitality of the last years of the Victorian era.
It is 100 by 150 mm and is available as a limited edition, signed and numbered giclee print on heavyweight etching paper .
