seen from outside St. Pauls in Swanston Street.
The corner of Flinders street and Swanston/St Kilda presents one of the most impressive views of the station and the Architect had this in mind when he designed the dome and the main entrance to the building!.

The drawing above shows the former Magistrates Court buildings, which stand on the corner of Russel and La Trobe streets.
The restored tram runs on the circle line, through the inner city.

The drawing on the Right shows the Rialto building in Collins street. It now houses the Le Meridien Hotel .
alexandra gardens boatshed rowing club

The drawing above shows the boatsheds on the bank of the Yarra river at Alexandra Gardens. The Gardens were laid out at the begining of the last century and the first boatsheds were constructed at that time.They are now home to many Melbourne rowing clubs.

The drawing above shows Chapel street in Prahran, looking down towards the old Read's stores building. The department store was opened in 1915. The building was recently renovated as Pran Central apartments.
The drawing on the left shows the entrance to Luna Park. It is a rather surreal construction and has featured in many films.
